Curious About Canvassing?

Have questions about canvassing? A little interested, but not sure how to do it? Want to learn how to effectively talk with voters at the doors?
You've probably heard that canvassing -- those face-to-face conversations at people's doors -- is the most impactful form of voter contact. Perhaps you've never tried it, and you're thinking this might be the year...this should be the year...but you have questions. Or perhaps you've canvassed before but want some updated information and strategies. We'll offer all that and more during a Zoom call on Tuesday, July 28, 7:00-8:00 p.m. Sign up here, and bring all your questions!

Join us for No Kings Day rallies, marches to the Capitol, sign-waving brigades, and Congressional meetings.

Join us for door knocking, letter writing, phone banking, and postcarding to elect Dems up and down the ballot in swing states.

Join us for Drinks & Democracy community events, poster-making parties, Know Your Rights trainings, and mutual aid efforts for immigrant communities.

What brings us together is our dedication to our common goals.
We’ve Come a Long Way
DoTheMostGood was formed in December 2016 by a group of Hillary for America volunteers. Some of them had attended a ‘Do The Most Good’ meeting organized in Ellicott City one week after the November election. The organizers of that meeting encouraged attendees to mobilize their own communities.
The founding members of DTMG MoCo were seasoned political volunteers with years of experience working on local, state, and national political campaigns. Thus, along with a focus on resisting current attacks on democracy, from Day 1 we were also focused on helping to elect progressive candidates, locally and, to the best of our ability, nationally.
